Our story
Care that feels like friendship
Fortify Care was founded on a simple belief: that anyone who needs regular support and companionship at home deserves more than a rushed visit from a stranger. They deserve consistency, warmth, and someone who genuinely has time for them.
Why we started
Fortify Care grew out of a frustration with how home care often works — a different face every week, visits that feel transactional, and families left wondering whether their loved one is truly looked after.
We set out to do things differently. By focusing on half-day visits and matching each client with one dedicated support worker, we create the kind of relationship that makes a real difference to someone's day — and their wellbeing.
We operate across Leeds and Bradford — including Keighley, Shipley, Guiseley, and Horsforth — as Fortify Care, a trading name of Fortify Healthcare Services Ltd, a CQC-registered provider.
What we stand for
Consistency
The same support worker, the same day, every week. Familiarity builds trust — and trust is the foundation of good care.
Genuine time
Half-day visits mean there's time to actually connect. A proper chat, a walk, a trip to the shops — not a rushed in-and-out.
Dignity
Every person we support is treated as an individual with their own preferences, routines, and personality. We follow their lead.
Transparency
Families always know who is visiting, when, and what was done. No surprises, no uncertainty.
Registered and accountable
Fortify Care is a trading name of Fortify Healthcare Services Ltd, a provider registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). CQC registration means we meet national standards for safety, effectiveness, and quality of care — and that families can have complete confidence in our service.
